MScan is the scan capture module of UBiQuati. MScan is capable of scanning documents with ISIS or Twain Image Scanners. MScan can handle over 400 models of scanners. Once setup MScan can be separated from UBiQuati or scan with UBiQuati. The Scanner scans with the most popular image formats, including .TIF, PDF, OCR PDF , BMP. JPG, JPEG2000 etc.. Not only will MScan scan it has capabilities to batch documents primarily for OCR. Other features include Annotating. Bates Numbering and Redaction. Multipage and schema images are created with a user naming convention of choice.

Mscan’s naming convention include naming images to be communicated to UBiQuati Table Structures. A user will name a document and use ( _ ) ( - ) and others to create a code to be read into the Tables of UBiQuati. Any scanning module will be setup including MFP (Multi Function scanners) to allow for watch folders. MScan will watch folders containing documents scanned to them by MFP’s then process them into UBiQuati.
